After playing dress up in Fishee Designs' Retro Photobooth at the Vintage Wedding Fair on Sunday, I am desperate for long mermaid turquoise hair. This Annabel's Wig Morgan Wig may have to do while I start washing my hair in Miracle Grow.

I came across this absolutely gorgeous editorial from Material Girl after Kaelah from Chief Little Honeybee posted it earlier in the week, and I couldn't resist sharing it with you. Gosh how I wish I had the ability to make images like this! Like Kaelah I've always had a lusting for candyfloss pink hair as well but have never had the guts to go through with it! I'll have to make do with these beautiful images instead. Enjoy!

Such a simple idea, but so effective! I have to say, I've ordered one of these for a Christmas present for someone. The brainchild of Mr Wick, Katie Figiel, also owns the fabulous shedraws, a wonderful, quirky little jewellery emporium that has recently begun trading again.

Soy wax is a natural wax from the soy bean and has a much lower melting temperature to burn which means it is safer than bees wax and paraffin wax. Soy wax also has natural moisturizing qualities so can used to rub between you hands if any wax is split.

Pearl Lowe for Peacocks

As I'm sure you're well away, in five days time the now infamous Christmas collection by Pearl Lowe for Peacocks hits stores. After getting my hands on the ubiquitous dress from the last collection, I must say I'm a huge fan of the collaboration. Peacocks has always been my go-to place for a cheeky dress or pair of shoes before pay-day and I think a lot of people disregard the chain as being a bit naff. If anything, I'd say in the past 18 months Peacocks has been more fashion-forward than Primark; the flagship store in Cardiff especially is designed beautifully, though you do still have to navigate your way through piles of ill-fitting tshirts and vest tops, I promise there are some gems to be had in there!

Winter winds...

Our second look for today keeps in with our running theme of all things Autumnal this week. This peter pan collar dress is a favourite amongst the blogersphere and with good cause; it's flattering cut and on-trend block colour can be worn a multitude of ways.

My penchant for a bird print continues with these gorgeous mossy green version of the aforementioned Flocking Birds Tights by Tights for Sore Eyes.

Forever and a day

How delish is Wallpaper Rose's new logo? Last week I promised some more reviews of the many Wallpaper Rose products that I own. Today we have unblurred imagery! But thankfully for you, not of my face, because I currently look like a troll.

I showed you the wonderful Babushka necklace last week, and today I've paired it with a longer style of necklace; this Frankie umbrella necklace was a one off (which I've only just discovered, making this blog post pretty pointless!)..the charm's eventually made it into the wonderful Maud brooch.

I thought I'd show you the images anyway to prove how easy it is to layer WRJ necklaces. All of the chains and charms used are carefully sourced so that the tones of the metal compliment each other.

Now, my checked shirt and vest combo today isn't exactly going to win me any style awards, but the shades of the Swarovski charms in the necklaces match the colours on the shirt almost perfectly. I love attention to detail in an outfit so I think the necklaces really make an otherwise dull outfit stand out.

Actually, I retract my original statement that this outfit wouldn't win my style awards. Checked shirts totally work for my figure (ie, lumpy) and for me, the term 'fashionable' should be applied to those who know what suits them and rocks it no matter what the ubercool determine to be 'in' or 'out'.

Another beautiful blue themed necklace is Isabella which could be used in the place of Frankie.
