Local photographer Jade Berry got in touch recently, wanting to use Crown and Glory pieces as the starting point for a new body of work; a series of enchanting images, capturing the essence of a long, hot teenage summer in our beautiful county. We love the Virgin Suicides feel about the series.
Jade uses analogue cameras and film, capturing life's important moments before they become lost forever. An experimental photographer, Jade uses a range of methods and techniques to create striking and visual imagery. She mainly uses 35mm film because she likes the aesthetic inherent within; "they feel more physical seems like they might last forever." Jade observes natural light in all of her work, documenting the 'moment', real people, real places, real presence.

I definitely get the Virgin Suicides vibe from these photos as well! So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I featured your Lotta Rosie headband in my newest style blog post here if you're interested in taking a look! I absolutely love your products so I was so excited about this post.

Such beautiful images! Love the quality of film rather than digital. The photo with the hair hanging down has got to be my favourite. There's something quite creepy about, which I love. Hx
