What do you guys think of the new additions to the C&G family? I've ordered a lot more wire vine and intend on doing some more twiggy pieces. I can also do the Tigerlily Princess clip in red or yellow if you're that way inclined. I'm currently wondering if a more bespoke section of the site, with one-off and luxe pieces would work well. Perhaps in the run up to Christmas?

New Pieces
Well, it doesn't look like summer's making and encore, does it? Currently I'm sitting clutching a mug of tea, wearing bedsocks and two cardigans...I should be sipping white wine spritzers in a floral dress somewhere! I thought I'd make good use of this rainy day (and put off job-hunting; yuk!) and speed up production of some items from the Autumn Honeycomb collection, as well as add a couple of bits to the late-summer Peaseblossom Collection. Let me know what you think!

What We Would Wear Tuesday; A/W Special
Like every other blogger in the universe at the moment, I'm getting pretty darn hyped about the A/W10 stuff that have started hitting the shops recently. But, as someone on extremely limited means (ie, unemployed) at the moment, it's also a bitter-sweet time as I know I can only drool over the lookbooks for the moment. And, although the weather has decided otherwise, it is definitely still Summer (until mid-September!) and so it's sometimes hard to find a transition; of course, we all want to look uber-in tune with the coming season, but having only owned S/S stuff for five minutes, it would be decidedly unethical to dump it all so quickly!
So I'm attempting to show you here how you can transition your summer staples and accessories for A/W. I've paired some gorgeous studded hardware (ubiquitous for A/W) with the Khaki/neutrals we saw so readily in summer (which, again, carries on very much through to next Spring) and girlies it all up with a beautiful corn-flower blue Orlaith headband from the new Peaseblossom Collection here at Crown&Glory. I've also included a pair of shearling lined boots; but instead of buying a new pair, I'll be jazzing up my biker boots from last A/W and lining them myself. The finishing touch is the gorgeous Rapunzel necklace by C&G favourites Wallpaper Rose, which adds a touch of 'Baroque n Roll' with its' beautiful Sapphire blue Swarovski heart-shaped pendent; the goldtone metals of the substantial chain and charm matches the studs from the belt and bag quite nicely (and wouldn't it be nice to own a studded 'Wang?!)

The Peaseblossom Collection
Oh blogging, how I've missed thee! Moving home was pretty painless except from BT's major fuck-up with our phoneline and internet...if they think they're getting a cent out of me this month they've got another thing coming! So I've decamped to my parents place in Brittany for free food and help with job hunting. I thought I'd show you a couple of new items from The Peaseblossom Collection. The collection is heavily inspired by A Midsummer Night's Dream (easily the best Shakespeare) and Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy book. It reminds me of late summer nights and dancing around a campfire. I hope you like!
Luella Hairclip. Multicoloured poppies, entwined with folliage on a barrette style clip. £4
Orlaith Headband. Cornflower blue head-dress style hairband, complete with buds and foliage. £7
Nixie headband. Deep purple poppies with foliage on a tortoiseshell headband. £7
Nixie hairclips. Two poppy heads attached to small crocodile clips. In mauve and plum. Two for £5
Josephene Headband; custom design. Pink, handpainted silk flowers edged with dusky pink glitter with diamente centres, on a silver or gold alice band complete with foliage. £8.
