100 headband bases, 50 metres of wire, 200 crocodile clips and a whole lot of blood, sweat and tears later and we were all packed off on our merry way for Newquay Boardmasters festival!
This was the biggest trading opportunity we'd ever taken on - our usual fairs can reach a footfall of 1000, so the 80,000 ticket holders going through the place over the Friday and Saturday during the music festival was a little daunting, truth told!
Not only did we have a hugely successful two days (completely sold of of butterflies, crowns and bobby pins!) we also managed to mix a bit of pleasure and see some of the acts too! I was joined for the weekend by my partner in crime, Gareth, with a little bit of help from my brother as well.
Here are some snaps from the weekend - we can't wait for next year!
Festival nails - Models Own Top Turquoise and Ibiza Mix
Not a bad view from the "office' it's got to be said!
Setting us up for the day, my partner in crime Gareth cooking up a storm while all the other staff traipsed to an overpriced burger van.
Our stall in all its' Glory - we were inside a big red marquee, so the colours are a bit out!
Our huge glitter bows got a whole lotta love of an evening, we sold at least one in nearly every colour!
Whole Lotta Rosie headbands in French Pink, Pale Pinke, Cream and Lilac
Our brand new Multicoloured Butterfly Headbands
Medium Glitter Hair bows displayed in a super cute cupcake tier
A selection of crowns, their pretty ribbons hanging down caught the eye of many
Our butterfly hairclips, displayed on off-white bird cages
