We heart... Mr Wick

"I'm a young art student, who loves all types of art and design, especially photography and textiles. In my shop you will find lots of quirky and unusual items to decorate your home. I like to find vintage tins and containers to fill with candles to reinvent and upcycle the packaging."

80's Pattern Teacup Candle; £7

Such a simple idea, but so effective! I have to say, I've ordered one of these for a Christmas present for someone. The brainchild of Mr Wick, Katie Figiel, also owns the fabulous shedraws, a wonderful, quirky little jewellery emporium that has recently begun trading again.

Soy wax is a natural wax from the soy bean and has a much lower melting temperature to burn which means it is safer than bees wax and paraffin wax. Soy wax also has natural moisturizing qualities so can used to rub between you hands if any wax is split.

You can find Mr Wick on folksy.
