Ways to Wear with Briar Rose

Obviously the gorgeous Megan from Briar Rose is no stanger to Crown and Glory - we just adore her beautiful pastel princess style. But how does our favourite sugar fairy adapt her look for autumn winter?

"Over spring and summer I tend to fall back on pastels and sugary colours, so I always find the transition into autumn and winter tricky. After wearing frothy pastel dresses and bright accessories for so long, burgundies, navy blues and greys rarely cut the mustard.

Thankfully, I love the metallic trend this season. For this outfit I chose some beautifully textured black pieces, and accented them with gold accessories. The headband is such a beautiful, statement piece that the other accessories didn't need to be too OTT - they just needed to provide that flash of gold to offset the black."

Spring 2013 Lookbook

Well, what a treat it is for us to finally get to share this with you! Shot by the ever wonderful Chloe Lee with our favourite Crown and Glory girl Megan McMinn, Spring 2013 is well and truly about the pastels for us at Crown and Glory!


Inspired by icecream carts, retro sweets and 1950's interiors, we've expanded our Whole Lotta Rosie range to include new colours for spring - duck-egg blue, colour pop coral and sugary sweet Ice Cream combo are sure to wet your appetite for hand holding in the sunshine.


We're no strangers to a hair bow here at Crown and Glory, and for Spring 2013 we wanted to subtly juxtapose the saccharine with the tough - meet our pastel Leather Hair Bows. We know you babes love choice, so we've got small and medium styles available.


Our ubiquitous Monarch Butterfly Hairclips have got some pastel-hued little sisters in our Glitter Butterfly clips - I can't wait to wear all of these together in an updo!


The lookbook was such a fun day, everyone involved was hugely greatful of being able to shoot in a studio set up in the depths of February! Megan wrote a super behind the scenes post if you'd like to read about it from a models point of view!
