I'm so excited to finally be able to share this weeks' bridal babe - our very own Megan! Megan knew from the moment her childhood sweetheart, Grant, proposed at the castle at Disneyland that she wanted us to create the headgear for her big day, but she's admitted herself that it took her a long time to decide on a design! "I toyed with the idea of a fairytale crown, glittery roses and more understated bows, but in the end it had to be a dreamy headband full of baby's breath, daisies and splashes of blue in the form of tiny foam roses - I love that it will last forever!"
But it wouldn't be a blogger wedding without a little outfit change! While there was no getting that beautiful princess gown off Megan's back, she always had her heart set on a little glittery crown and donning one for the evening reception seemed the perfect excuse. We crafted a delicate lace base, embossed with super fine and super sparkly glitter and finished with blue Swarovski detailing.
Last but my no means least, Megan asked us to come up with the decorations for her 4 bridesmaids hair, too! As they had mismatched pastel dresses Megan wanted to keep their hair accessories relatively similar but adjustable depending on their desired hairstyle for the day. We created pastel rose clips sets, in 4 sizes and 4 colour ways, that the girls could mix and match to clip into Heidi braids, a messy top knot, a side swept fringe and tumbling curls. As the roses are made of realistic looking foam, it's something the girls can wear everyday and be reminded of the most beautiful Cornish Fairytale.
