Please Don't Say You Love Me

Gabrielle Aplin Rose Headband

The gorgeous Gabrielle Aplin was spotted posting this selfie on instagram last week, sporting our Whole Lotta Rosie crown in Mint no less. We've got a whole lotta love for our fellow South West based belle!

Max C London - AW Lookbook

Crown and Glory Max C London

Autumn Winter at cosmopolitan brand, Max C London, reflects the eclectic city in which they are based. 60's style shifts and flattering flared dresses are embellished with interesting details - scallop edging, fun prints and wearable designs.

Crown and Glory Max C London

I've been a Max C London fan ever since purchasing their skull front clutch bag, ooh about 5 years ago now! So when they contacted me to ask to borrow some pieces to compliment their clothes and accessories in their Autumn/Winter lookbook, I was delighted.

Together we chose a variety of floral pieces to compliment the rich, jewel tones and autumnal hues of their collection.

Have you bought from Max C before? What's your favourite piece from their latest offering?

Featured!

An exciting day at Crown and Glory HQ today - our first 'name in print'! The very gorgeous Rosie from RosieGlow wears our Florence Floral Bandeau in her festival style-off outfit, and was kind enough to ensure we got a nice big mention - such a babe!

This Is My Life...

This is my Life from audrey rogers on Vimeo.

The above video is by blogger-extraordinaire, Frassy, and I must say I have serious life envy right now. Whilst I'm equally blessed to be able to do what I love every day, and to be able to work with such wonderful people like Audrey, I do so in rainy, backward-thinking Cornwall, not the fun-filled, fashion forward streets of Paris. A girl can but dream! Audrey is a real testament to the 'Crown and Glory girl' I design for - sporadic, fun, free and not afraid to push fashion boundaries. Audrey is a true inspiration to not be afraid to be who you want to be.

Audrey wears her limited edition Intergalactic Starlight crown several times throughout the video - a few poorly-captured screen shots are below.

Diamonds are a girl's Best Friend

A little while ago now I was lucky enough to have Crown & Glory featured in a photo shoot for burlesque performer extraordinaire Tiffany Beau. Tiffany, aka Laura, is no stranger to this blog - she very kindly wrote this tutorial on creating the perfect hair rolls - accessorised with our very own butterfly hair clips, of course - a little under a year ago.

Famous for routines such as her namesake, 'Tiffany Diamonds', full of glamour and sparkle, Tiffany Beau has shown a softer side to her alter-ego in this gorgeous woodland fairy shoot.

Can you feel the last good night?

Welcome to my new followers! Crown and Glory seems to have gone from strength to strength this weekend, for which I thank everyone profusely for following and reading! I can only put it down to the expanse of blog features we've been featured in this week, which was quite overwhelming to come home to after a weekend away! I've posted a few titbits from them all for your perusal; please do have a look at these girls blogs, they're all very talented, interesting and beautiful individuals!

In other news...

- I started my new job and I am SHATTERED! I think I'm enjoying it though, it's hard to tell after one day! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Crown&Glory won't suffer as a result! Will just have to put the hours in...

-This is probably something to do with seeing Jimmy Eat World at the Academy in Bristol last night. They were amazing and are still definitely one of my favourite bands! AND they played my all time favourite song, 23. I am not ashamed to say I shed a little tear.

-Later this week I'll be interviewing MessyCarla about what inspired her to begin blogging and what makes her fash-pulse race! In the meantime, check out her Indie Spotlight feature on us here.

Sweet like a chica cherry cola...

I thought I'd bring you to the attention of this lovely little blog article written about Crown and Glory yesterday by the lovely Stacie of Champagne Kisses Jewellery. You can read the full article and interview here.

In particular I wanted to show you the lovely photos she took of the our Cherry Cola; Polka Dot Bobby Pin Set I love how she's matched the bobby pins to her wallpaper, tying the red all in with the colour of her top. The images are stunning (definitely something to do with the model!) and I only wish I could take photos like this for the items myself!
